Parents, we would love for you to attend our Parent and Coach Workshop on Tuesday July 30th at Davis High School 6:30pm in the High School Auditorium.
As a club, we want to help our youth athletes achieve their soccer potential as well as help them grow as people through their soccer experience, leading them to life long participation as players, coaches, officials or volunteers of the game. To achieve this, we must create the best environment possible to foster their love for the game and development within it. We are excited to host an evening for parents and coaches with Skye Eddy Bruce and Mark O’Sullivan

A night of reflection and learning for parents and coaches. All parents want their child to thrive – on the soccer field and life. Skye Eddy Bruce, the founder of Soccer Parenting, will combine personal experiences, the latest research regarding sports participation, and thought provoking stories from parents and coaches across the globe to give you greater insight into how to best support your soccer player. You will walk away with clear strategies, thoughtful advice, and a deeper understanding about the most important elements of your child’s soccer experience – so they will thrive.
Skye Eddy Bruce
Skye is the founder of the Soccer Parenting Association (SoccerParenting.com), with a mission of inspiring players by empowering parents. Skye is a sought-after speaker for parents, coaches, clubs and players. A former professional player, Skye was a collegiate and youth All-American goalkeeper, Defensive MVP of the Final Four (1993) and State Champion track athlete. Skye has coached extensively in the youth and collegiate games. A MBA graduate of the University of Richmond, Skye has earned her USSF “B” License, the National Goalkeeper License and is a Coach Educator for U.S. Soccer and United Soccer Coaches.
Mark O’Sullivan is a UEFA A licensed coach based in Stockholm, Sweden. Mark works at top Swedish club AIK as coach and player developer. He also delivers coach education courses for the Swedish FA and has run many youth social projects He has his own blog, 'Footblogball' and also works with Espanyol Football a co-operation with La Liga club’s RCD Espanyol, Barcelona FC, and Ajax FC Amsterdam. Mark is a PhD researcher, Coach Educator and Consultant to Canadian Soccer Association.
