Founder & Technical Director

Britain has 17 years of experience coaching athletics. He holds US Soccer National ‘B’ License, National ‘Youth’ License and is an NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer. Britain has a strong desire to know everything there is to know - really. 


Director of Coaching 

Jamie is from Glasgow, Scotland. He received his youth licenses through the Scottish Football Association and began coaching at his boyhood club Glasgow Rangers FC. Jamie enjoyed spells at several clubs in Scotland, including St Mirren FC before moving to the U.S to play college soccer and at the professional level.

Peter has coached soccer and other sports for 20+ years. In soccer, he has coached in rec, academy, competition, high school and ODP. He is in his 7th season as ODP staff . He has his National 'D' license and National youth license as well. He is passionate about player development, creating the technical/thinking players and all things FC Barcelona.

Rhett has coached soccer for 9 years and holds a National 'D' license. He played some youth soccer, but really caught the soccer bug in 2005, watching RSL between classes at the U of U. After his kids caught the bug, Rhett began his coaching education, with a focus on player development and enjoyment.

Craig has 6+ years of coaching experience. He especially loves working with the younger ones to help them gain a love for the game. When Craig is not involved in soccer, he enjoys traveling with his wife and four kids. Craig holds a USSF ‘F’ license and is pursuing his ‘E’ license.

Nathan has been playing soccer for as long as he can remember. He started coaching once his oldest was able to join a rec league - going on 6 years coaching now. Nathan spends his days as a lawyer and his nights playing soccer (or basketball), coaching soccer, or watching his boys play soccer, basketball, and football.

Abby has played soccer nearly all her life. She worked her way up to the college level where she played for Westminster College as well as Weber State University. Her love for the game and player development is huge, and she is excited to continue in her soccer career through coaching at MetaSport.

GK Coach

Brian was a stand-out goal keeper growing up, garnering top state honors through his play at Bountiful High School. He's been coaching since 2008, including working with dozens of keepers of varying ages and abilities, from just starting out to preparing for college tryouts. He currently runs small group sessions under the banner TIP Goalkeeping.

Robin started coaching soccer 7 years ago when her two sons took up the sport. She holds a USSF National 'D' License. Robin has a Master of Social Work degree and has worked closely with young children and their families, and currently works for a local hospice company.

Coach, SLC Metro

Jeremiah has 13 years of coaching experience and holds a National 'D' license. His love for the beautiful game started at age 5 and he was lucky enough to have played ODP and in college. His “real” job is a linguist for the Air Force, but his true passion is helping young players reach their potential.


Coach, Davis County

Kevin is a tech geek with a passion for soccer. He started playing at 5, continuing through his “back in ’85” days at USU. He still laces up to “play” in the old-man leagues. Kevin has a National 'D' license and has coached & assisted various teams. He recently trained “the little guys” (U6s-U7s) & “slightly bigger girls” (U8S).

Chris has been playing soccer for 25+ years in the Salt Lake area and played on the Utah ODP select team. Chris has been an assistant coach for 3 years for Mt. Vernon Academy in Murray and this first season as a head coach. His family have been lifetime season ticket holders for Real Salt Lake.

Glen played soccer through college at UVU, when it was club soccer. He has coached 10+ years with rec, AYSO, and comp leagues. He is passionate about soccer but more passionate about life learning skills. He has been a youth adviser for 20+ years. Glen retired from the U.S. Army where he taught numerous leadership courses.

Johnny currently holds an 'E coaching license and a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling. He has many non-profit foundations and soccer specific programs including:  Hanging Cleats, Soccer 4 College, and One World Futbol. Johnny played soccer at both Dixie College and Utah State University.

Tony has 12+ years coaching youth soccer. He currently holds a USSF National 'D' license. Both teams he started at age 5-6 have made it to premier. He has also coached ODP as an assistant for 3 years. Tony loves kids and spends his days torturing them at his pediatric clinic. His focus in coaching has changed over time to prioritize development, FUN, life skills and character building over simply winning.

Matt started coaching soccer 8 years ago when his oldest daughter joined a rec league.  He has 5 children that provide lots entertainment through their various sporting events.  During the day he is a software nerd, making web applications, and in his free time he enjoys mountain biking, golfing, and hunting.

Clay has over 14 years of coaching experience in multiple sports. After his own soccer career, he began coaching his children and many other teams of all levels. Clay holds a USSF National 'D' license, as well as a USSF National Youth license.

Ben has 11+ years coaching experience from youth clubs to university level. He was an All American in college and played professionally for 5 years in the USL. Ben studied engineering in graduate school and designs medical devices during the day. He spends most evenings and weekends playing or coaching soccer.

Ken has been coaching for 32 years and holds a US Soccer ‘B’ license. His competitive coaching in Utah began with AYSO All Stars. Ken was head coach for Ogden High, SLCC women’s team, and he spent 6 years coaching ODP before moving to Nevada to coach an independent U12 team to State Cup Champions. Back in Utah since 2012, Ken has been coaching U12, U13, U15 and U16 teams for various clubs, as well as assisting at Davis HS and for the ODP 05 GirlsHis favorite team is the incomparable Manchester United!

Todd holds a USSF National ‘E’ License. He began coaching with the Rush Soccer Club and then moved onto coaching his own children in recreation and competition. He has played soccer for various teams at all levels including 3 years for ODP and the University of Utah. Todd is pursuing his USSF National ‘D’ License and still plays soccer in adult leagues.

Brian has been coaching soccer for the past 9 years and he has coached ages U6 to high school. He has played on numerous championship teams including club, ODP, and college. He holds a USSF National 'D' license and plans on continuing his soccer education.

During Miranda's high school career at Bountiful High she was a 4-year starter in varsity and lead the team in assists. Also, during high school she moved and played club soccer at La Roca Premier where she traveled to compete all over the U.S. She holds an "E" license and is currently earning her "D" license. 


MetaMinis Trainer

As a kid, Randi started off as a dancer. But as life progressed, dancing led its way to playing soccer. She went on to play competitively in high school, college, and still plays today. Randi has coached on-and-off over the years and holds an "E" license. During the day she is a physical education teacher at Wasatch Peak Academy in NSL. She absolutely loves soccer and is excited to be working with the younger Meta players to help them develop their own love for the beautiful game.

Josh's professional soccer prospects ended with penalty kick to the face at age 8, but he’s learning to love the game from the sidelines. He’s built a career as a visual storyteller and is known as a creative force.

Dan has a degree in engineering and worked as a project manager. A few years ago he started a company in Bountiful. He and his wife, Lindsay, have four kids whom they chase around school and athletic ventures.
